TRENDING TESTIMONIALS:

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! I bought it for my special needs 9 year old daughter who is really scared to walk. With this belt all what I have to do is hold the belt from the handle which is located at the back so she felt safe to walk. The velcro is very very strong. Overall the belt is a life saver, easy to use. I wish if it came in different colors   - AMNA

4 OUT OF 5 STARS! I lke the heavy duty Velcro instead of having a clip in belt lock, no finger pinching to worry about . The loops are important for a better grip on the gait belt. It helps my back, less back strain if my child does not support his own weight while practicing to walk.   - ETG

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! I use it on my 97 yr old grandfather who is 143 pounds, very little fat on him and no hips. I've tried other gait belts with the teeth and they just slid right down his body or came loose. The velcro made me a little nervous, but seeing how sturdy and well made the belt is makes it so much safer. Would recommend for anyone.   - MONICA

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! This belt is wonderful! I can strap it to my daughter tightly and it helps keep her hips from abduction. The handles are great for water and horseback riding (hydro and hippotherapy).   - SHEEBERINO

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! We are extremely grateful for this belt. My daughter has epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Due to previous falls on the stairs while seizing, she is terrified of walking on the stairs. My husband and I tried repeatedly to assist her on the stairs without a belt. She was terrified and leaned back greatly. Once we tried with the belt, she felt safe and secure. She stood upright and extended her legs. Thank you for a great product that inspires confidence and greater independence.   - CARRIE S.

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! I have been a Physical Therapist for 42 years and the OTs and other PTs with whom I work at our agency only use these Elgin gait belts. When my brother suddenly became a quadriplegic, it worked for him as well, much better than the ones his PT uses. They last for many years and I use them several times/day, every day.   - KRISTINA B.

4 OUT OF 5 STARS! Terrific! Does just what I need it to do, which helps me support kids while I'm working with them on gross motor activities. Fits a very wide variety of kids. Only complaint is that after a year, the velcro has tended to not be as strong. Can throw it into the washer/dryer and the belt is good as new.   - JPB

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! I purchased the Elgin to use on children that we give pony rides too. We wanted to increase the safety of the pony rides and do not want kids belted to the saddle. This worked on kids from ages 2 to about age 7. It was the perfect solution to our concerns and is very durable and adjustable.   - AZMOM

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! This was a life saver. I had bought other belts and since my mom was diagnosed with ALS, the others just swallowed her. This little belt is ideal for a person who is small. It saved us many falls, I am sure. Very sturdy. I knew when we had this on, I could surely move her without hurting her.   - TERILEONA

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! MADE WELL! I love this! It is so sturdy and you can really count on the durability of this lasting a long time!   -MEI WEAV

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! BEST GAIT BELT I'VE USED! Highly recommend! The Velcro is very strong and the handles give me a good grip to help patients.   -LW

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! This makes moving my loved one so much easier on both of us.   - JEANNE P.

5 OUT OF 5 STARS! It has helped tremendously. I'm more able to help with my husbands care. It's very durable and sturdy.   - NORMA S.
